I know planning your wedding and finding the right vendors can be hard. So I hope this not only gives you clarity when you book with SMC studios but also helps you understand our passion behind every wedding!

So let's talk about the SMC Studios Brand Mission, what motivates us and what drives our decisions. It’s that we want to preserve beautiful, authentic memories for couples. But we also realise your wedding day can be expensive, so we want to make sure we’re providing an affordable service without compromising value.
We make our packages affordable for our beautiful couples so they have enough money for the other important things on their wedding day (dress, suit, catering, honeymoon, the list goes on!). We honestly want you to have the most amazing wedding day. While also having the most important moments captured. And that is by our dedicated photographers and videographers of course!

Some ways we deliver on this combination of affordability and value is that you can build up any of our packages. What this means is that we have base packages that include everything you need to have your wedding day captured, but if you want something extra like a drone or an engagement shoot before your wedding day, you can add that on! We want you to have everything you need, without paying for things that aren’t of value to you. Another way we save you money is by working with an affiliated editing company that has been around for over a decade and has over 16 dedicated editors. The wait time to get your photos back is still the standard 4-6 weeks (top of 8 weeks in busy periods) but you aren’t paying the price of an in-house editor, or waiting on one person to get all your photos edited.
That is enough about our brand mission I think, but I do just want to take a moment to discuss the impact we want to have on our beautiful couples. And this is to ensure our couples feel supported and comfortable knowing the SMC team has your back!
We want to make it as easy as possible for couples to enjoy their wedding day and want you to trust that the preservation of your beautiful memories is in capable hands.

One of the ways we achieve this is by submitting to you an in depth wedding day timeline questionnaire so you can plan your day from start to finish. This allows your photographers and videographers to know where to be and when, and also what are your ‘must have’ important shots, so we can capture them.
We source local photographers and videographers that know the area, which assists in getting the best shots! This also has the added benefit of being safe from any lockdowns (fingers crossed never again!). And touch wood if a photographer or videographer falls sick on your wedding day, SMC Studios has the capacity to find you someone great within 24 hours.
To ensure your wedding video is as enjoyable as possible, you have the option of choosing the accompanying music. But don’t worry, if in any doubt just let us know the style of music you like and we have you covered! With the video, we also include a re-edit of this.
